Annual Fairs & Festivals at Red Apple Farm
SAVE THE DATE!!!
We host a number of fairs and festivals at the farm each year. They’re some of our busiest weekends! Each one promises an authentic family farm experience complete with unique, fun traditions to look forward to in the years to come, and then to look back on years later. We hope you’ll join us for these annual events…

Blueberry Jamboree
July
Kick off the summer with a celebration of all things blueberry. Slated for two weekends: July 15, 16th, 22nd and 23rd, 2023! We put the “berry” in “jamboree” each year with a weekend devoted to this powerhouse fruit. Fill up your bucket with fresh pick-your-own blueberries, all while sipping on an ice cold Blueberry Cider or trying Bart’s Homemade blueberry ice cream and our blueberry-glazed cider donuts. And of course, there’s BBQ firing up the grill, local vendors/crafters, and live music.

Sunflower Festival
August
Our second summertime festival comes at the peak of sunflower season. Join us for a fun, family-friendly day of pick-your-own sunflowers and other sunflower-themed festivities over two weekends! Past activities have included hula hooping, tie dye, live music, and a craft fair of unique arts and jewelry. You might even win a prize for finding the largest sunflower of all. Sunflower Fest 2023 is planned for August 12-13th and August 19-20th!!

The Appleseed Country Fair
Early September
We are proud to host this early September country fair that celebrates and promotes the diverse and unique fall offerings of the Johnny Appleseed Country of North Central Massachusetts! The annual event, held all three days on Labor Day Weekend, features over 30 vendors, local food and food trucks, Brew Barn & Cidery, plenty of live music and more! Pick apples & sunflowers, take a hay ride around the orchard, ride a mechanical bull, and create family memories! Fair admission is only $15 per car load to benefit the Athol & Phillipston Fire Department Associations. Kick-off the fall season and have old-fashioned family country-fun while supporting two great non-for-profit associations!! For more information check out https://www.appleseedcountryfair.com/

Wachusett Mountain Applefest
October
Red Apple Farm is a proud sponsor of Wachusett Mountain Applefest held at Wachusett Mountain in Princeton, Massachusetts. The yearly event features live music and entertainment; a large craft fair; and seasonal food and beer! Always scheduled the 3rd and 4th weekends in October. Come enjoy all our farm-fresh treats at this annual mountain tradition!

Thanksgiving Harvest Festival
November
Every November, local family farms and businesses come together at Red Apple Farm to offer all the best fixings for your Thanksgiving table and home. The festival features delicious food, The Brew Barn, face painting, pony rides & hayrides, blacksmith demonstrations, local live music, PYO ornamental corn, guided nature hikes, and more! Come share and taste New England’s bounty, and bring Thanksgiving to your home from the North Quabbin Region. Discover local vendors selling fresh crops and unique products from all over New England. Bring non-perishable food items to support our local food pantries (enter to win great raffle items for every 5 food donations)! There’s so much to do at the Thanksgiving Harvest Festival, you just have to come see for yourself. Always held the weekend before Thanksgiving (10am-5 pm Sat & Sun)!

Country Roads Christmas
December
This holiday festival is a month long event, held the first weekend in November through the first weekend in December, and provides an opportunity to visit and shop in local country stores in the North Quabbin Region, including Red Apple Farm. Take a weekend drive down old, New England country roads shopping at unique stores for one-of-a-kind gifts where folks are truly glad you came by! Relax and avoid the hustle and bustle of the mall. Complimentary refreshments are available at each stop. Pick up a free card for a chance to win great prizes from participating country stores.

Easter’s Great Gathering
April or May
Join us the day before Easter Sunday for this holiday event to benefit our local Congregational Church of Phillipston. Brunch with the Easter Bunny, baby farm animals, children and adult egg hunts, Easter vendor fair and a whole lot more!
